Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using CoSec OS. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Important — Not Legal Advice: CoSec OS is a technology platform that assists with the preparation of corporate documents. AI-generated resolutions are drafts only. They do not constitute legal advice and must be reviewed by a licensed Company Secretary before filing with SSM or use in any legal proceeding. SLV Group Sdn. Bhd. is a technology company, not a licensed CoSec firm.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and SLV Group Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. to be advised) ("Company", "we", "us") governing your use of the CoSec OS platform accessible at csos.my and related services ("Platform").

By registering an account, clicking "I agree", or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using CoSec OS on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use CoSec OS you must:

CoSec OS is designed for use within Malaysia and is governed by Malaysian law. Users outside Malaysia use the Platform at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

4.1 Registration

You must register an account to use CoSec OS. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must immediately notify us at support@csos.my if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account due to your failure to maintain security.

9.1 Our Property

The CoSec OS platform, including its design, code, AI prompts, and branding, is owned by SLV Group Sdn. Bhd. and protected by Malaysian copyright and intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

9.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of your company data and documents. By using CoSec OS, you grant SLV Group a limited licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.

9.3 AI-Generated Documents

AI-generated board resolution drafts are provided to you for your use. We do not claim ownership of the text generated for you, subject to Section 6 disclaimers.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SLV Group Sdn. Bhd., its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of AI-generated content; (c) your violation of applicable law; or (d) any third-party claim arising from your use of the platform.

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@csos.my. Upon closure, your data will be retained for the periods specified in our Privacy Policy.

12.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you: breach these Terms; use the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes; or fail to pay amounts due. We may terminate the platform with 30 days' notice to all users.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of CoSec OS shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes by contacting us at legal@slvgroup.com.my. We will endeavour to resolve disputes within 30 days.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Your continued use of CoSec OS after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with changes, you may close your account before they take effect.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SLV Group Sdn. Bhd. regarding your use of CoSec OS and supersede all prior agreements.
